GST Update
January 21, 2010

The Golden State Tour continues to shine in 2010. Operating a professional mini-tour requires an understanding of the players and making a commitment to them. GST has been committed to its players for 28 years. Sometimes, I think it’s easy to overlook our program because of our unassuming style, but Tour Sponsors, Cleveland Golf/Srixon, Lamkin Corporation and ROEL Construction believe in the Golden State Tour. It’s the best place in California for you and your game.

Please read the updates (below) about the ROEL Series and the NEW Lamkin Series.

LADIES Golden State Tour Begins in 2010
December 10, 2009

Golden State Golf Tours, Inc. is expanding its operation in 2010, forming a Ladies Professional Division – the Ladies Golden State Tour (LGST). The tour will have an 18-event schedule and has an arrangement with the newly formed China LPGA to offer a sponsor’s exemption into the 2010 China Ladies Open, a $250,000 event. Mr. Huey M. Yu, owner of the Oak Valley Golf Club and the Oak Valley Golf Academy in Beaumont, CA, is the real spark behind this arrangement. He recently opened an Academy in Shanghai, China and is a sponsor of the China Ladies Open. It is this relationship that has created the sponsor’s exemption for the LGST leading money winner in 2010.

Golf becomes an Olympic sport in 2016 and Mr. Yu knows this will create a golf boom in China. His support of the China LPGA Tour combined with supporting the Ladies GST will create a strong relationship for women’s developmental golf in the future. As an aspiring player, your support will help this relationship grow as well.
