To operate in a fair and honest capacity; offering a competitive schedule as a gateway for aspiring players to achieve success at a higher level.
Embarking on its 27th season in 2009, Golden State Golf Tours, Inc. is the oldest, most dependable developmental tour in the country. The GST (as it's commonly known) was started by Doug Ives in the early 1980s, giving players a place to play competitive golf while trying to earn their PGA Tour cards. Over the years, hundreds of GST players have achieved success at higher levels. Success has come in the form of PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour victories as well as US Open, US Senior Open and US Amateur participants. There will be more successes linked to past GST players. Our professional approach, consistent operation and our strong desire to see players succeed, make GST the cornerstone of developmentat golf in California.
